Set to air next year, the series will delve into Mourinho's journey in football, commemorating two decades since his historic triumph with Porto in the UEFA Champions League.
Following the success of Netflix's Beckham documentary series released last year, the upcoming project will offer viewers an in-depth exploration of Mourinho's life and achievements on the pitch. Featuring exclusive interviews with Mourinho himself and players who have been under his mentorship, the series aims to provide a comprehensive narrative of his impactful career.

The revelation about the documentary came earlier this year when Mourinho, then in charge at Roma, hinted at its filming during an interview. Reflecting on his decision to honour his commitment to Roma despite massive offers from Portugal & Saudi Arabia, Mourinho teased: "There are things that will only be known there, they pay me well! I hadn’t signed with Roma yet, but I had given my word. A club came along and wanted me to break my agreement with Roma, which hadn’t yet been signed, and I said no.
“When the documentary comes out everyone will say I’m a total idiot. When Portugal arrived I immediately told the president about it. When Saudi Arabia arrived I immediately told the president about it. This is why I don’t think they talk to other coaches behind my back, for me it’s not like that because there is reciprocity.”
